Coachella… I already can’t wait to see you next year.
I went the first weekend and obvi it was like Christmas for me.
I headed there friday morning in the rain but with a smile ear to ear.
I stayed with a group in La Quinta and we went to the festival everyday around 5ish.
This year was exceptionally perfect. The only parties I stopped by this year were; Gen Art, Lacoste, Neon Carnival, Flaunt.
I saw: Bon Iver, Radiohead, The Shins, Rapture, Black Keys, St. Vincent, Noel Gallagher, The Weekend, Feist, Florence & The Machine, Dr. Dre & Snoop, etc….
Coachella is the most fashionable festival of the year, and it’s always cool seeing the outfits people pull together.

Shourouk S/S 12
I came across Shourouk when I was in Paris a few weeks.
This S/S 12 collection is so luscious, I get all starry eyed looking at these beautiful necklaces.
To me this collection is very futuristic, Native American inspired.
These pieces are beaded and made with metals & some mother of pearl detail as well.
Feel free to wear a tee, or basic blouse with one of these conversation pieces.
When I wear necklaces like this I keep it super basic and let my neck do the talking..

Are you on a search for that perfect teenie weenie bikini?
Undrest By The Sea, might actually be one of my favorite spots for bikinis right now in LA.
There is a store on Melrose, as well as one on Abbot Kinney, in Venice.
The bikins are so cute/perfect for this Spring/Summer 12. It’s a Neon delight!
And they are even more perfect for Coachella this year..

The Ting Tings
My friend Sonia, Maria, Jack & I went to see The Ting Tings at The Mayan Theatre last night.
I was actually quite surprised at what a great show they put on, based on the fact that Katie White (vocals), said she had just had her appendix out and almost cancelled their U.S Tour..

Paris Streets
I was in Paris last week.. Just missed Fashion Week but was there for a little week long getaway.
There is so much beauty to take in while walking through the streets.

The Peach Kings- Little Things
I heard this song a couple weeks ago and took a liking to it.
I think this is a good one to listen to if you’re having a rocky day and need an uplifting beat..
Alternative Apparel did a collaboration and produced this video for their Spring 2012 Campaign in the desert here in California.
I think this video is super cute, plus I love Alternative Apparel.. Best tanks, and tees for layering!

Closet Makeover
I have two walk in closets in my bedroom and realized that my shoes and handbags were unhappy in their closet.
My bf, Jacob Anthonisen is not only an Art Gallery owner/art dealer but also an incredibly talented interior designer.
In less than 24 hours he was able to revamp my closet and give it a new meaning.
He has a few more final touches to put on this bad boy but here is a sneak peak of the crazy transformation.

New York was my Valentine another year in a row.
I spent the day frolicking around the city with friends…
At night I went to the Narciso Rodriguez fashion show.
Dinner at The House and then went to see The Drums play live at Work In Progress.
I couldn’t have asked for a better Valentines Day this year.

Monday 2/13/12
Here’s a little something I love about going to New York…
I’m never afraid to just venture around the city solo and meet up with all different friend groups.
Fashion week is the best time to connect with old friends/current/new friends.
My best friend Alex and I did a little shopping in SOHO and then I had a few different parties to attend.
I started my night off at the Tuleste Market Event with my friends Kelly & Mike. We then had dinner with an intimate group of 10 at the Blue Ribbon Bakery. I suggest the Seabass… DELICIOUS! From there I made my way over to meet my friend Kaetlin at The Darby, where Theophilus London was performing. I then bounced and headed to meet Tyler and Cesar at Soho House, and then The Dream Hotel. We first went up to the penthouse where Josh Menendez had a table, and then downstairs to The Electric Room where I met up with my friend Whitney….. I’m almost positive this is how you’re supposed to spend your nights in New York. x

Saturday 2/11/12
It snowed all day… Perfect day to lounge around the apartment
Saturday night was a whole other ball game…
I started the evening at PH of Dream Hotel, at my friend Cesar’s table..
We had snacks upstairs and then we made our way downstairs to, The Dream Gallery where it was a Lovecat Magazine party for The Kills. From there my friend Tyler, Ryan and I made our way over to Boom Boom Room at the Standard for the Purple Mag party.

Brooklyn Bound
I arrived in New York late friday evening on the 10th.
I went straight to my friends Alex & Kait’s apartment and was ready to party!
We made our way down to Williamsburg and went to, The Levee where we had some whiskey and cheese balls at the bar… Then went to the Whiskey Brooklyn where I experienced my first, Pickle Back; It’s a shot of whiskey followed with a chaser of pickle juice. So good but I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re with a date… Just saying.
If you want a chill night where you can throw on a pair of jeans, a hat/beanie, I definitely recommend these local spots in Brooklyn.
