Coachella is so 2008! Yesterday, I went to Googamooga, which was held in Prospect Park. It may or may not be my new favorite mini festival. Thank God for high-waisted jeans because all the things that I shouldn’t have consumed while being on a cleanse, I inhaled. There were so many yummy food stands as well as specialty wine/beer stands that were from all over the city. Three bands performed; The Flaming Lips, The Darkness, and Yeah Yeah Yeah’s. I’d have to say Karen O from the Yeah Yeah Yeah’s not only killed it with her outfit but her on stage performance was just as spectacular as when I saw her the last time, years ago. She was dressed like a girl version of David Bowie in a Pope hat and glittery suit. She had a choir perform with her when she opened and she closed with, “Date with the night”, and a good ole fashioned mic swing around her head. This is a festival worth going to again, mainly so I can stuff myself until I need to unzip.

There was a whole lot of bunny business going on today. Central Park inherited a new bunny this afternoon in the city. These crowd friendly ears may get you one or ten glances, but they are the glances that say, “Boy, it sure would be fun to dress up as a bunny for the day.” This is my casual friday look, this beautifully structured with lace, Alice & Olivia Moto jacket is transitional for a day at the office or a day/night on the town. My teenie bunny hat is by Mich Dulce. Mich has an insane in the membrane lookbook. Her hats are made from banana fibers and are produced in Minila, Phillipines. Mich met me recently but, I’m convinced these hats were made for me ;).

Purchase My Look Below:

Alice&Olivia-Ericka Bra Top

It’s a gorgeous gloomy saturday here in Soho. If you have to be in the rain this is the perfect outfit to be wearing while singing in the rain, otherwise you should be at home watching Gene Kelly do it for you. I was so unprepared for today’s down-pour. I wish I had been in the rain gear listed below.

Purchase me:
1. Acne Studios-Acne Pascal Sunnies in White
 2. Topsop-‘Girlie’ Trench Coat
 3. Theory-Lisso Striped fine-knit linnen top
4.
Felix Rey-Singing in the rain umbrella
5.
Pamela Love-Silver Cross Cuff
6. Fallon-Crystal Rosswell Cluster Earrings
7. Rag&Bone-Milton distressed boyfriend-fit jeans
8. Jimmy Choo-Jai Short Rain Boot

A feel good flashback with Gene Kelly…

Today I spent the day at ENK buyers paradise, and met many new faces behind each brand. There were so many spectacular lines in this wide spectrum trade show, some I am very familiar with and some I just became acquainted with. While pacing through each aisle I noticed some continuing trends for the upcoming seasons. Tinsel, neoprene, sequins, purples and bright blues, light knits, two toned leathers, glitter, pattern jeans, etc. There were so many great booths but the colors in these booths really grasped my attention.

I hope everyone had a safe and fun cinco de drinko. I dressed up as a Piñata/big bird in this throwback favorite jacket by Foley + Corinna. I paired this with a Stone Cold Fox low-back crop top. I like mixing different textures. Lace and chiffon layering, extra extra I’m all about it. Oh, and these sunnies they were a vintage steal in San Francisco. Packaged and never worn from the 30′s.
